Pain on the inner
side of your knee?

See if the Atlas System is right for you.

If you suffer from chronic pain or aching in your knee, you may have osteoarthritis (OA) – a painful joint condition that can interfere with nearly all aspects of daily life.

Right now, doctors at select centers in the U.S. are accepting participants for the Atlas Clinical Trial. The trial is for the Atlas System – an investigational device designed to relieve knee pain, while preserving your joint’s natural anatomy and motion.

About Knee Osteoarthritis (OA)

About Knee Osteoarthritis (OA)

In knee OA, the cartilage that covers the joint surface and acts as a cushion against shocks begins to wear away. When this happens, the bone ends may rub against each other, causing pain and loss of motion.

The Importance of Unloading

Research shows that knee OA may begin or progress if the joint is exposed to excess stress or load. Several conditions can lead to joint overload, including anatomy, injury, or excess weight. Restoring the joint to normal loading conditions may relieve pain and maintain healthy cartilage. Although some invasive surgical procedures can effectively reduce joint stress, they often involve permanent changes to the joint’s natural anatomy, which may limit future treatment options.

What is the Atlas System?

The Atlas System is designed to treat knee OA by absorbing excess load placed on your joint. Once implanted, the Atlas System works like a shock absorber for your knee.

The Atlas System is implanted under the skin, alongside your knee joint, through a single incision. And unlike joint replacement procedures, none of your bone, ligament, or cartilage is removed, which may help maintain future treatment options.

Are You a Candidate?

The Atlas Clinical Trial

Right now, select doctors throughout the U.S. are accepting participants for the Atlas Clinical Trial. The trial is evaluating the Atlas System – an investigational device designed to relieve knee pain, while preserving your joint’s natural anatomy and motion. Currently, the Atlas System is only available through the Atlas Clinical Trial.

Participants in the Atlas Trial will receive the Atlas System and procedure at no cost to them.
